Here Now Dance Collective present The Apology Project
The Apology Project exposes the guilt, the daily human practice of experiencing shame, apology, and forgiveness. We say "sorry" for bumping into each other, for being late, for taking up space. We say "sorry" to strangers, to our partners and to ourselves. This communal understanding of the need, yet devaluing of "the apology" calls for exposition. We offer a multitude of apology scenarios with movement and body language and put them on display. We dissect and magnify and then ask you to step forward look through the glass.
