Juan-Winfield Scott-Escutia or the Mexican-American War, a Butcher's play
A new work in progress by local writer/performer Chris Davis. Winfield Scott, a General in the Mexican-American War, and Juan Escutia, a young Mexican military cadet, meat. The piece explores the Mexican-American war and the infamous last stand of the Ninos Heroes (Boy Heroes), complete with live grilling of various meats during the show.
