AFP Piedmont, National Philanthropy Day
National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is celebrated by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and hundreds of non-profit and for-profit organizations throughout North America. On this special day, we recognize the great philanthropic contributions to the community of philanthropy and those active volunteers who devote their time to advance the efforts of various organizations.
During the luncheon, South Carolina's Piedmont Chapter will recognize philanthropists' and volunteers' significant contributions to various organizations across our region. We will recognize all nominees for Philanthropist and Volunteer of the Year as part of the awards program. There will be one overall award winner in each category, Philanthropist of the Year and Volunteer of the Year, who will be selected by a committee of community leaders.
