Clean Up at the Kracji Preserve
Join NPSNJ Board Members and Volunteers and REI Saturday May 14 for a morning of Plant ID, Trail Maintenance, and Invasive Species Removal. After the clean up we will head to the Carriage House of Paul W. Steinbeiser Native Plant Nursery for lunch, provided by NPSNJ, in the Carriage House and a tour of the Nursery. Tour and lunch is limited to those members who worked in the preserve in the morning. Facilities are limited and you must register to participate so we have a head-count for lunch. Please be sure to wear work clothes, sunscreen, bug spray and closed-toe shoes, bring some hand tools with you, clearly marked with your name. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Time: 8:30 - 11:30, Lunch 12:00 - 1:30
Location: NPSNJ Kracji Preserve, Alfalfa Hill Road, Closest Intersection: Alfalfa Hill Road and Church Road in Holland Township NJ. At this intersection turn onto Alfalfa Hill Road and The preserve, marked by a wooden sign, will be on your left. Park on the street.
If you are coming from the Volendam Windmill Museum in Holland on Adamic Hill Road, go to the intersection of Adamic and Alfalfa, Left on Alfalfa and the Preserve will be on your right hand side.
