Plant for the Future: Eco Garden/Farm Design 101
2011 Urban Farms & Gardens Pre-Tour Event
Co hosted by the US Environmental Protection Agency
EPA Staff will lead a workshop on designing your planting areas in order to best protect and support the environment and human health. You'll learn how to control erosion, plan for good water and energy management, maintain healthy soil, use sustainable materials and how to manage pest problems safely.
