Hailing from Sleepy Hollow, New York in the Hudson Valley, this quirky quartet burst on the scene with their 1998 self-produced release: âA Good Thief Tips His Hatâ.

The Circus' music is rich with substance and vivid imagery, touching on religious & philosophical mythologies while delivering a visceral and fun live experience. Lead by the enigmatic Joziah Longo, who is working on his second Broadway musical, this group of eccentrics met at art school before settling in Sleepy Hollow and forming the ensemble we know today.

With 4 releases on their own label and a number of world tours under their belt, Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams have earned respect and their place in the music industry. Their performance at Pisgah Brewing Co. in Black Mountain, NC on May 7, 2011 is one show that is not to be missed.
