Exploring Beer Flavors
First, the Wine & Hop Shop will lead a guided tasting through a variety of craft beers highlighting the unique flavors in each beer and sampling raw component ingredients like malt and hops. The Wine & Hop Shop Experts will also discuss homebrewing techniques and how you can recreate the flavors in your favorite beers using various ingredients in your homebrewing.
Then, Chef Dan Fox of the Madison Club will discuss cooking with beer and how to pair beer flavors with foods. Finally, enjoy a sampling of foods prepared specially by Chef Fox.
There will be opportunities for you to ask questions of both The Wine and Hops Shop expert and Chef Fox.
May 7th 1-3pm at the Madison Club (open to the public, no membership required). Ages 21 and up. $20- All samples, as well as a tasting glass for you to take home, are included in the ticket price.
