Deadlock Barrel Aged Dark Sour Release
ABOUT THE BEER:
Council Brewing is proud to announce our seventh barrel aged bottle release and the first of our Dark Sour Seasonal Barrel Aged Release:
Deadlock, an American Dark Sour Ale that will pucker your lips and melt your soul. This seasonally released beer isn't all April showers and May flowers though, Deadlock's spring version was aged on raspberries with dark malt flavors that give rich notes of chocolate covered raspberries. Its impish qualities come through with Lactobacillus giving its signature tartness and toning down the sweetness. Brettanomyces lends a deeper flavor more reminiscent of wild grown fruit Subtle complexities from the oak barrel come through to carry the flavor to the finish and is bottle conditioned to help the flavors evolve over the seasons.
This is a limited release of 762 bottles. Limit (6) bottles per person.
BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Beginning on June 10th, 2015 at 12:00 PM, you will be able to purchase up to (6) 750 ml bottles of Deadlock.
BOTTLE PICK UP DATES - June 13th, 2015 - June 27th, 2015. Bottles not picked up by June 27th, 2015 will be surrendered back to Council Brewing Co. No Refunds. No exceptions.
RELEASE PARTY:
We will be hosting a release party on Saturday, June 13th, 2015 throughout the entire day (11AM-10PM). We will have a keg of Deadlock on tap this day, as well as food truck, Grillfellas BBQ on location. (Food, tasters and 10 oz pours of Deadlock are sold separately and not included in purchase price of bottles.)
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Please use your name when purchasing the bottles. Only you may pick up the bottles. PROXIES are NOT allowed. You may not purchase bottles under another person's name. To retrieve your bottles, you will be required to show your proof of purchase (your "Brown Paper Tickets" ticket) and/or valid ID valid ID for the purchase of alcohol and to ensure your name matches to your bottle purchase. Must be 21+ years of age to purchase alcohol.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.
SHIPPING:
Council Brewing will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the tasting room during regular tasting room hours.
