June 18th On-The-Farm Dinner: Vegan Night with Barry's Tempeh!
We could not be more excited to say that our farm dinner series is in full swing! This week's guest chef will be the talented Barry Schwartz of Barry's Tempeh. Last year he produced one of our favorite (and vegan!) dinners, proving once and for all that a delicious meal doesn't have to revolve around a meat entrée.
On Thursday, June 18th he'll be serving up tempeh once again and this time it's interactive taco night. He'll provide the all-vegan tempeh, toppings and homemade sauces, and you assemble a plate to your liking.
And for those who are unfamiliar to tempeh, it's a blend of fermented beans and grains used as a satisfying (and tasty) substitute for meat. That said, you don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to love this meal! Not only is Barry's Tempeh delicious, it's rich in enzymes, amino acids and probiotics and made with all organic, wholesome ingredients. Served with the most local veggies the chef could get his hands on, you'll find this meal a refreshing break from your usual dining experience. So come on down to Edgemere Farm and let Barry show you just how good tempeh and vegan can be!

To minimize the waste our farm produces, we ask you to bring to the farm your own plate to eat off of. We hope you'll help us form a beautiful medley of plateware, starting with one of your favorite (and reusable!) dishes. We'll even wash it off for you at the end of the night.
