Eat Mobile does Forktown -- Portland Food Cart Tours
Forktown has partnered with Eat Mobile to offer tours of Portland's most awesome food carts! We will take you cart hopping all over town to try tasty samples from 8-10 different carts. We'll share the stories and inspiration from cart owners and test your cart-savvy with food cart trivia.
Two tours are offered: a lunchtime jaunt on Friday April 29th and and evening excursion on Saturday April 30th. Tour transportation is provided by ecoShuttle.
** Friday April 29th, 11am-2pm "Lunchtime Cart Hop" **
This tour will meet downtown, where the Portland food cart culture began. We will sample from a handful of great carts, then hop on the ecoShuttle and head to North Portland for more tastings. Our furthest stop will be the Crystal Food Garden in St Johns, because the food out there is just too good to miss.
** Saturday April 30th, 6pm-9pm "Southeast Sunset Snack-a-thon" **
Experience food carts by sunset! On this tour, we will snack our way through four different SE Portland food cart pods. Cart owners will offer up bites of their creative cuisines and share the stories behind the tastes.
Duration: 3 hours
Tour Cost: $45.00 (includes all food tastings, beverages, guides and transportation from meeting location)
Meeting Location: provided at ticket purchase
Please note: This is Portland, so tours take place rain or shine! We apologize that we cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions, except for vegetarian diets. Please let us know ahead of time if you are vegetarian, by emailing info@forktown.com. No refunds or exchanges after April 22nd. Chinook Book coupons and Tozmoz vouchers are not valid for these tours. On rare occasions, we must cancel tours due to lack of enrollment. In this case, we will fully refund your payment.
