Champs Charter High School "Becoming Memories" by Arthur Giron
"When happiness gets started in a family, it keeps rolling along from generation to generation, like a child's ball."
Becoming Memories is a deeply poignant and evocative play that explores and honors the enduring values of freedom, education, hope, and forgiveness in five American families over three generations. The play brings to life the stories we often hear about our grandparents from the photographs we see or the stories passed from one generation to the next. Come relish the artistic gifts of the Senior Drama Academy Class of 2011, as they celebrate Family and the the threads of Love that knit the generations together.
With original score and sound design composed, performed, and recorded by Mr. Frank Becker and the Upper Level Music Academy students, costume design by Ms. Brandy Smith-Curry and the Costume Design students, Technical Direction by Ms. Caroline Law and the Theater Arts students, and Media Design by Vince Campi and the Digital Arts students, you will experience a most glorious practical collaboration of learning through the arts at Charter High School.
