Intro to Theatre Dance Camp
Intro to Theatre Dance Camp (Ages 6+) Wednesday & Friday 10:00am - 12:00pm
2 week session: June 8 - 17
This class uses a jazz and ballet base of dance and then incorporates stage blocking and showmanship. Solo, duet, trio, and ensemble numbers help kids to learn proper stage use and etiquette. There is also a theatre component that will encourage growth as individuals and actors.
Instructor: Kendall Simas began dancing over 15 years ago, specializing in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary styles. During her time at Rocklin High School, Kendall was Dance IV Student Choreographer and Dance Team Captain . Kendall obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology at San Diego State University and continued her studies in dance through SDSU's distinguished School of Music and Dance.
