The Tuttles
"The next generation of bluegrass is here: The Tuttles!  This young, super talented band is composed of singers and multi-instrumentalists who have been playing music since they were barely old enough to hold a pick."  Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse, Berkeley

The Tuttles is a family band, based in the heart of Silicon Valley yet steeped in traditional bluegrass music which Grandpa Tuttle began playing on the family farm in Illinois and passed down to his son, Jack Tuttle.  Jack has devoted his life to playing and teaching bluegrass music in the San Francisco Bay Area.  His children, Molly, Sullivan and Michael, began playing music with him at a very young age and they are carrying on the family's bluegrass and acoustic music tradition in the family band. The Tuttles have performed to standing ovations across the U.S. and into Canada.  They have over two million views on their YouTube music videos from fans around the world.  The band has received numerous awards: Best Band for three years from the Northern California Bluegrass Society (NCBS); Molly Tuttle voted Best Guitarist and Best Female Vocalist, Michael Tuttle the Best Mandolin Player, and Jack Tuttle the Best Fiddler from the NCBS.  The Tuttles respect the traditional music handed down through their family's generations, and they also bring fresh, new material to their shows.  The band is especially known for astonishing musicianship, beautiful singing and gifted songwriting.

Reviews
"At Gettysburg they received 3 standing ovations and were introduced for their second set as the surprise and discovery of the festival. Their instrumental wizardry almost made me laugh out loud in sheer amazement."  - Bluegrass Music Association of Canada, Dave Porter, V.P.

"Molly Tuttle sings with the gentle authority of Gillian Welch, yet plays astoundingly fleet flat-picking guitar like Chet Atkins on superdrive ."  - American Songwriter Magazine

"Molly Tuttle blew away the unsuspecting crowd with her rapid fire bluegrass guitar work that would put even the most talented shredders to shame.  It was a marvel to see such incredible technical skill combined with a sweet voice and fun, barn-storming songwriting. She reminded me a bit of Nickel Creek, if all three members were transformed into a single bluegrass superhero."  - Write to the Beat, review of Milk Carton Kids & Molly Tuttle concert
