Tigerstyle
Trained in classical tabla and various forms of folk music and instrumentation from the Punjab region of India, brothers Raj and Pops felt most influenced by their father's record collection of Desi and Bhangra sounds. In their teens, gangster rap artists such as Dr. Dre and Tupac who expressed their identities and told their stories in their music inspired them. Today Raj and Pops along with two traditional Punjabi dancers, two doja drummers and a DJ, have created a unique fusion of traditional Indian music and contemporary hip-hop, resulting in Tigerstyle's original brand of Bollywood Bhangra.
