Third Date Improv
Durham's favorite new improv group returns to Common Ground for their summer offering with a new cast. This time around Third Date regulars Nancy Pekar, Dan Sipp and Jenny Spencer are joined by Sarah Eldred and Chuck Givens. Loyal fans of the company may remember that these two played with Third Date in a show two years ago that was a big success. It was so much fun to have them along the first time that they're doing it again. Call it Improv Déjà Vu!
The cast may be different, but the style is still the same: Scenes that are a comic and sometimes bittersweet exploration of relationships with partners, family, friends, and co-workers. They reflect the joys, surprises and everyday frustrations of life in our weird, wonderful world.
Local guitarist Randy Reed will open the show.
Many of their shows at Common Ground Theatre have sold out. So don't be surprised or frustrated. Get your tickets early!
