The Great Spavaldos at Homecoming
Presented in partnership with Newcastle Town Centre Partnership, Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and Appetite
From New York to Bombay, from Paris to Abyssinia, the Spavaldo brothers performed their flying trapeze daredevil stunts without a safety net for over a quarter of century before their mysterious disappearance. Now they are back to tell their story and dare audience members to join them inside the big top, high up on the flying platform.
The Great Spavaldos is an immersive and multi-sensory theatrical experience for two people at a time*. Fitted with video goggles and headphones you are given choreographed instructions to take on the central role of a circus performer.

'The Great Spavaldos' is the second show by Il Pixel Rosso, originally commissioned by the Roundhouse as part of CircusFest 2012 and funded by Arts Council England.
Please note: If you wear glasses, if possible, please wear contact lenses or advise us in your booking to ensure we have the correct equipment for your booking.
The show requires actively moving around the space so participants need to be able to do that to take part in it.
NO late comers allowed please turn up at least 10 mins prior the beginning of the show.
