Forest Health Field Workshop
Trees get sick, too! Root diseases are frequently the culprits, but I'm also seeing more instances of foliar diseases like Swiss needle cast. In this outdoor field workshop, WA DNR forest pathologist Amy Ramsey will lead a tour through an area heavily impacted by three common diseases: Swiss needle cast, rhabdocline, and laminated root rot. We will talk about identification, impacts, and management options.
