Ruddy Well Band
A homegrown entity formed in Syracuse, the Ruddy Well Band has emerged as one of Central New York's premier performing string bands. A finely-crafted combination of dynamic rhythms, tight harmonies, and mindful lyrics the five acoustic instrumentalists bring their audience fun, foot-stomping Americana.
The Ruddy Well Band released their self-produced album, Little Blue Marble in 2011. At Subcat Studios in 2013, they produced their second album, Change of Course, which won a 2014 Sammy Award for Best Americana Album.
The Ruddy Well Band was the winner of the 2014 Grassroots Festival Band Contest, received a second Sammy in 2014 for People's Choice for Best Band, and has been featured on several Syracuse and Rochester radio shows.
