Crochet Basics
Marie Segares, the underground crafter, offers the following course:

In this beginner course, learn everything you will need to crochet on your own while having fun! You will explore the chain, single, half-double, double and treble crochet stitches while learning to read patters while working on your choice of project. Simple color changes, finishing techniques and trouble-shooting will also be discussed. Materials supplied for the first class, where students will receive a list of materials to purchase before the next class.

Workshop Gallery Artists Foundation will also provide some free and/or low-cost materials from their resources.

The class meets for 3 consecutive weekly Wednesday sessions: April 6, 13 and 20th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Coffee and tea served.

Workshop Gallery Artists Foundation is a non-profit foundation whose purpose is to promote and facilitate the process of keeping traditional art craft alive and vibrant in our world and to encourage the interpretation and expression of such through the individual artisan.

We fund-raise for scholarship and support, expose the public to craft and art and encourage their participation.

Brooklyn Workshop Gallery is home to WGAF. BWG is a semi-collective atelier space dedicated to the celebration of cultural expressions, transparency in our processes, the sharing of our philosophies and a welcome to others with creative ideas.
