CHRISTINA BALDWIN

Considered by many in our field to have been one of the leading authorities on training singer-actors, Wesley Balk served as artistic director of The Minnesota Opera for almost twenty years, where he earned a national reputation for his imaginative and bold approach to stagings of both traditional operas and new music-theater. He continued his work with us at Nautilus as our Director of Performer Development.  Join us as we celebrate his achievements with four of the Twin Cities' most popular performers who demonstrate the power of integrated singing-acting in a series of eclectic programs  material chosen from Nautilus' repertoire, favorite selections from contemporary opera and musicals, and excerpts from new work designed to confound your expectations about music-theater! All the performances will be held at Zeitgeist's Studio Z, 275 Fourth St at Wall, next to the Farmer's Market in St Paul.
