Joan and Claire are sisters that have shared a secret for more than thirty years, a child that was given up for adoption. One sister wants to protect the life she has carefully crafted the other believes they owe this child an explanation. When Sarah arrives it throws both of their lives into a tailspin neither may ever recover from.
