Food+Farm: Urban Gardening Workshop at UFF
Morning workshop, 9am-noon. Introduction to Urban Gardening
This session will provide an overview of the challenges and benefits of urban gardening. Urban Farm's David Homa, an edible landscape designer and gardener, will discuss and demonstrate the following: Where to grow? ...sun, water, and soil in the city What to grow? Herbs, veggies, fruits Obtaining materials and resources. Community Gardens. Permaculture in an urban setting
The session will include a tour of the Urban Farm Fermentory's gardens and an extensive Q & A period. All experience levels welcome.
