2015 Sioux River Folk Festival
36th Annual Sioux River Folk Festival, held in Newton Hills State Park, will be July 31, Aug. 1 and 2, 2015. This year's festival features Town Mountain, Frank Fairfield & Meredith Axelrod, Jalan Crossland, East of Westreville, You Knew Me When,
Jami Lynn w/ Dalton Coffee and Andrew Reinhartz, Darin Kaihoi, Sergeant Creek Stringband, Dakota Roots Revival, and Dakota Roots Showcase.
Workshops will be presented by the musicians from 10 am to noon on Saturday and Sunday, and a yoga workshop will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00. South Dakota Friends of Traditional Music is a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional music for generations of South Dakotans.
