Art, Yoga, Meditation and Sweets
Join Maite Gomez-Rejon of ArtBites and yoga instructor Andrea Marcum for a perfect combination of art, yoga, meditation and sweets to give you at taste of India and to whet your appetite for Andrea's upcoming retreats to Southern and Northern India.
First, Maite will take you on a guided tour of LACMA's special exhibition "Landscapes of Devotion: Visualizing Sacred Sites in India." Then we will join Andrea at the La Brea Tar Pits where she will lead us through a yoga and meditation practice. All of this is followed by sweet treats provided by Maite.
Think of it as a mini-retreat to inspire the real deal in January when you can travel with Andrea to India. In fact, if you register for her trip, the price of this event will be discounted from the price of the retreat... how's that for travel inspiration? You'll also have the opportunity to meet those already signed up and get an idea of who your fellow travelers are.
(Price includes museum admission, tour, yoga/meditation practice, water and sweet treats. Museum parking is not included. Bring your own yoga mats.)
Class is limited to 20 participants.
Please note that though this class meets at LACMA it is not LACMA organized.
