Date Night at Pet Emergency
Think you'd get right what your parents got wrong? Lisa sure did! But now she's beginning to wonder. Ever since baby #2 arrived, she and her husband Kevin bicker over everything from sippy cups to impenetrable origami instructions. Then, on date night, Sophie the rescue dog ODs, Kevin starts fuming that the vet bill's going to bankrupt him back to a double-wide in Burnips, Michigan, and Lisa's not sure about anything anymore -- except that this has got to be the worst date night ever! Directed by SF Chronicle Theater MVP David Ford, this solo show is "worth getting a sitter for" according to Michele Fagerroos (mother of triplets).
