Mark My Words

Mark My Words was first produced as a fifteen minute workshop in the 2010 One Woman Standing series of the Emerging Artists Theatre. The show received such positive feedback that writer/performer Jessi Blue Gormezano decided to expand it into a forty-five minute play.
The story centers around Carla, a young bride who gets jilted on the morning of her wedding. Her best friend, her hairdresser, and her mother all offer their wisdom and support. With four wild and wonderful West Virginia women operating within a crisis, expect perms, pick ups, and M&Ms.
