The Art of Caregiving
The Art of Caregiving:
How Jewish Tradition Can Inform Our Caregiving Journey

Featuring Rabbi Richard Address, Founder of the Sacred Aging Project
Followed by The Journey of Caregiving panel with local guests

Rabbi Richard Address will share wisdom on caring for aging parents and other loved ones as articulated in Jewish text and tradition. As the Union for Reform Judaism's Specialist for Caring Community and Family Concerns, Rabbi Address consults and advises on how faith and community can support those caring for a parent or other aging loved one. Rabbi Address also speaks and writes on how "honoring our parents" looks today and other contemporary issues of aging, spirituality, family and community.

The Journey of Caregiving panel will include different perspectives on this theme from JFS Director of Aging and Adult Programs, Jane Relin; Toby Donner and Norma Rosenthal, caregivers and authors of a local website, http://www.girlfriendswithagingparents.com, and others to be announced.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn from a nationally renowned scholar!

Reservations recommended as space is limited. Financial assistance available.

Sponsored by Jewish Family Service, Temple B'nai Torah, and Temple De Hirsch Sinai with additional support from Kline Galland, Senior Services and Temple Beth Am.
