Long Beach Searches for Greatest Storyteller
People are invited to submit a true, six-minute tale that happened to them. Stories are submitted online, and six will be chosen for the show, as well as two tales from the audience. $100 cash prize is awarded each show; the winner is decided by secret ballot audience vote and panel of judges. Tales may be read or said. Long Beach Searches for Greatest Storyteller is in its fourth year, and is held quarterly. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The finals are Mon., July 27th where top two tellers from Malarkey's preceding shows compete for the title: "Long Beach's Greatest Storyteller, 2015."
