Making a scene

At the heart of every improved show is the scene, and this course teaches you to make improvised scenes that are hilarious, touching and real. Learn to observe and engage deeply with your scene partner, allowing the scene to emerge organically from the connection. Make life easy for yourself by not inventing, just discovering what is already there and playing it as hard as you can.
At the end of this course, you will have a clear and practical way of looking at character and relationship, be more able to create scenes without the support of game structures. You will be more relaxed and present onstage and therefore more responsive to the needs of your partner and the show. And that makes everything easier and more enjoyable for you, your partner and the audience!

Leading to a rich and complex way of playing scenes, but losing none of the funny, this course is designed for people who have done some improvisation already. We keep the class small and give close personal feedback.
