Elizabeth Bishop Symposium
Publication of Elizabeth Bishop's North Haven journals celebrates the life and poetry of one of America's foremost poets on her favorite island: North Haven.
To commemorate the release of "Elizabeth Bishop: The North Haven Journal, 1974-1979" by Eleanor M. McPeck, the North Haven Library and Waterman's will host a two-day symposium which will feature a screening of Barbara Hammer's film "Welcome to this House" and special guest speakers including 2012 inaugural poet Richard Blanco and North Haven author Susan Minot.
