Catch Me Daddy
A breakout film from the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes, CATCH ME DADDY tells the story of Laila, a girl on the run from her family and of her darkest night as she and her drifter boyfriend must stay one step in front of them. Wispy, atmospheric (set on the Yorkshire Moors in northern England) and tense throughout, the film gives a nod to noir thrillers and newcomer Sameena Jabeen Ahmed gives a standout performance in her first film role that you will not forget.
