Victor Hugo's epic novel, LES MISERABLES, is arguably one of the greatest books ever written. So it's no surprise that this amazing novel has become one of the greatest musicals in the history of theatre (it is currently revived on Broadway). The story follows the emotional journey of escaped convict, Jean Valjean. In an encounter with the kindly Bishop, this event becomes a huge turning-point in Valjean's life that causes him to become a better person. LES MISERABLES is truly a classic, exploring themes and ideas that remain relevant today.
