Portland restaurants and food trucks are joining together Monday, June 1 for Pop-Up for Nepal, a fundraising event for Nepal earthquake relief. This tasting event was Inspired by Chef David Turin's recent Nepal fundraisers.
Participants include: David's; Empire Chinese Kitchen; Eve's at the Garden -Portland Harbor Hotel; Eventide Oyster Co.; Local 188; Love Kupcakes; Mainely Burgers; Tempo Dulu - Danforth Inn; The Sinful Kitchen; TIQA; Union Restaurant - Press Hotel; Vinland; Walter's; The Well. Beverage partners include New England Distilling and Shipyard Brewing Company.
The event is from 6:30 - 9 p.m.; tickets include tastes from every participant, cocktail samples and Shipyard beer. Additional beverages will be available at a cash bar.
Pop-Up For Nepal supports the work of World Food Program USA (WFP USA) and helps to support relief efforts in Nepal.
