Stephen Hinshaw presents to Educators and Associated Professionals
Stephen Hinshaw is a Professor and Chair of the Psychology Department at UC Berkeley. A longtime director of research programs,including summer camps, for children with ADHD, his books include Attention Deficits and Hyperactivity in Children and, more recently, The Triple Bind: Saving Our Teenage Girls from Today's Pressures. Articulate, passionate, and inspiring, Hinshaw brings to his presentations remarkable ability to communicate effectively with a great range of listeners. He raises important questions and issues. In an era when budget problems, violence, and a desire for simple answers seem to dominate public discourse, he offers sensitive, thoughtful, useful approaches to dealing with challenges.
