Die Schöne Müllerin
SongFusion presents a special performance of Franz Schubert's Die Schöne Müllerin. Heralded as "among the finest guitarists of all time," guitarist/composer David Leisner has brought into the world a new arrangement of Die Schöne Müllerin for guitar accompaniment specifically for SongFusion's event. He has created an arrangement that requires virtuosic ability, which he is in no short supply of. Together with Artistic-Director Michael Kelly, they will present their riveting re-imagining of Schubert's first, and arguably his greatest, song cycle on June 15th, 2015 at 7pm. The event will take place at one of our favorite venues, the extraordinary loft and home of Simon Yates and Kevin Roon. We look forward to sharing this exciting evening with you, and announcing our 2015/16 season.
