Emma's Kids - French Fridays
Summer days are just the time for enchanting kids with new things. Time to Dabble. Wow! Giggle. Join Emma Koropp, Wheaton Warrenville South High School Senior and Honors French student, for an introduction to parlant français.
Emma is excited to make speaking French FUN, with outdoor frolic, BINGO Française, interactive French cooking, and nature walks. All (well mostly!)en française. Weather permitting, the kids will set up a lemonade stand and conduct sales in French on one of the days. The kids will use the just wonder- full Everything Kids' French* book every day. Et bien sûr, Edith Piaf will be playing on our Praire Path Books gramophone! Spark your child's interest in language let Emma Wonder-Full them!
As a magical, memory-making end of class tradition, Emma will read aloud classics in French such as Harold and the Purple Crayon, Goodnight Moon, Seuss' One Fish, Two Fish and Madeleine. Of course, these books will be sale-available for French Friday souvenirs!
