The only event featuring Spirits exclusively made in New York.
Slow Food NYC and The McCarren Hotel are pleased to collaborate on the fourth annual Spirits of New York Event featuring spirits made in New York, with most ingredients grown and produced in New York or, otherwise, fair/direct traded.
Selected regional producers' beverages vodka, gin, shine, white brandy, rye, Bourbon, and jack will be served up neat and in tantalizing, season and place-inspired cocktails for truly local libation. This is your opportunity to taste some of the best booze in the state and also meet their makers.
Local, artisanal spirits producers are at the forefront of an exciting revolution: re-invigorating small scale, regional spirits production and helping build vibrant, local farm, and food economies by supporting local farmers and creating local jobs... and doing so deliciously.
Food is available for purchase from the McCarren Hotel kitchen and can be ordered at the main bar.
