Comedy Lab Live Sketch Writing Program
Have you ever wanted to create a live sketch show? This 8-week course taught by the writers and producers of STL Up Late, will teach students how to write different types of live sketches, create a themed show, and perform the show themselves.
Students will be using the STL Up Late process to brainstorm new material and be a part of an engaging writers' room environment to turn funny ideas into fully formed sketches.
At the end of the 8-week course, the class will write and perform original comedy sketches for a show in front of a live audience. The entire revue will be professionally produced by the crew of STL Up Late.
The class size is limited to 12 people in order to provide a hands on approach and adequate stage time.
Class: Mondays from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., from August 3 - September 21 (8 weeks) Student Sketch Revue: Thursday, September 24
