Bundy Playreading Sunday MARCH 6
A seated reading of the play "FROZEN", a drama by Bryony Lavery set in present day England.
Featured artists: Karesa McElheny, Sam Ross and Michelle Duffy. Directed by Robert Mammana.
This play examines the evolving relationships between the English mother of a 10 year old girl who has disappeared, her itinerant killer, and the American psychiatrist sent to study him. This three character play begins in monologues, and moves to a surprising end, examining forgiveness and the paralyzing effect of locked emotions.
While this is a drama, there are moments of startling humor and an uplifting ending.
In addition to the play, the song FROST by Tom Rizzo & Bonnie MacBird will receive its premiere performance.
For mature teens and older.
Upcoming readings in the series will include CYRANO, QED, TAKING SIDES, and a spooky MACBETH near Halloween.
This playreading series is being organized and directed by Robert Mammana, Miguel Perez, Karesa McElheny, and Bonnie MacBird.
Doors open at 6pm. Play begins at 6:30pm sharp.
