An infamous seducer of women, the protagonist of this classic work of Spanish theatre, Don Juan Tenorio, does not believe in divine punishment until too late. Tirso de Molina's early seventeenth-century play was a hit not only in its own time but has also served as a source of inspiration for subsequent generations of writers throughout the world. In this production by the Spanish Department at the University of Washington, we will offer a modern public the chance to see a complete staging of this work in the original language
