The Backpack Monologues
The Backpack Monologues is a theatrical performance that empowers young women to promote social change in their communities while addressing sexual and social issues that impact girls and women everywhere. The premiere performance will be held on March 26 at 3:00pm at Covenant Baptist Church, 3845 South Capitol Street, Washington, DC 20032.
The cast is made up of young women from the Generation to Generation Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project, a program of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.
Note: Proceeds from the production will go the Generation to Generation Project, which helps to prevent teen pregnancy in Washington, DC's Ward 8, which has the highest rate of teen pregnancy in the District of Columbia. Donation are 100% tax deductible.
The performance is suitable for female and male audiences ages 12 and up.

Ticket Purchases We are offering a special 50% discount on tickets purchased by March 1, 2011. Purchase discount adults tickets for $10.00 and youth tickets for $5.00 between February 15, 2011 and March 1, 2011. Regular ticket prices from March 2nd are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth.
