Gift to Life - Wharf Room Comedy
Wharf Room Comedy is happy to host Gift to Life, based out of Cal Berkeley. Were hear to raise money to treat Peruvian children with aplastic anemia.
Aplastic anemia is caused by government mining runoff containing the chemical benzene. The only treatments are blood transfusions, and the only real cure is a bone marrow transplant.
We want to help with continued research treatments for aplastic anemia and, awareness to implore the Peruvian government to both stop the mining and to convince the government to transport the children to locations with better medical facilities.
