White Girl (Tucson Fringe Festival)
An original theatrical work by Maythinee Washington, WHITE GIRL is an examination of love and hate, race, gender, identity, and self-awareness revealed through the story of a young and silent girl bombarded by voices not her own. Inspired in part by the doll test by Dr. Kenneth Clark and new science about the brain and decision-making, WHITE GIRL 2011 is an update of the one-woman show which debuted at the 2010 Vegas Fringe.
