You will learn about recreational shellfish harvest rules, where you can clam, clam identification, safe and sustainable harvest practices, cleaning and cooking your clams and how to keep our beaches clean for healthy future harvesting.
Suggested donation of $5/family supports future marine stewardship programs
Bring your shovel or rake, a bucket or net bag for your clams, boots, and a current WDFW shellfish license. Purchase a Shellfish License online www.fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov OR at a local store. For a list of local outlets and other information please visit http://www.jeffersonmrc.org.
