Broomfield Symphony - Go West!
We end our season back at the Broomfield Auditorium with movie music and other themes from the Wild West. We'll be performing The Cowboys Overture (John Williams), Dances With Wolves (Barry), Rodeo Dances (Copland), and the William Tell Overture (Rossini).
We'll also feature Sophie Luyten performing one movement from the Barber violin concerto and Willem Luyten performing one movement from the Kabalevsky violin concerto. The soloists are our high school and middle school 2015 Youth Concerto Competition winners from our Youth Concerto Competition in January.
This is a repeat performance of the Thursday, June 4th concert. We will also be holding our 2nd Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser at this performance.
