Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Caroline Scott Players holds its second production, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" by Edward Albee on Nov. 20, 21 and 22 in the Oxford Community Arts Center's north parlor. This play examines the breakdown of the marriage of a middle-aged couple, Martha and George. The title is a pun on the song "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" from Walt Disney's Three Little Pigs. This play won both the 1963 Tony Award for Best Play and the 1962-63 New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Play.
Tickets are $15 general admission and $12 students and senior citizens. Performances are as follows: Thursday, April 7 7:30 PM Saturday, April 9 7:30 PM Sunday, April 10 2:00 PM
**Online sales for each performance will end 12 hours before that performance. After that time, further information will be available on the Caroline Scott Players line at 513-524-1277. Tickets at the door can be paid with cash or card.
Caroline Scott Players is a newly resident semi-professional theatre company for the Oxford Community Arts Center founded by Bill Brewer, Founding Artistic Director and underwritten by an anonymous local arts patron. The group was an outgrowth of interest by various actors and designers over the past few years. Please come and support your local theatre company and experience a night of pure entertainment.
