The BOOST dance festival is excited to announce its 2011 artists: Daniel Wilkins/DASS dance, Christin Lusk, Alana O. Rogers, Jennifer Elder, Aliza Rudavsky/The Kinematic Dance Project, Kate Wallich, Maya Soto/Soto Style, and Marlo Martin/bad marmar dance.In its debut year the BOOST dance festival sold out each evening and had to turn away numerous patrons, immediately indicating the need for a bigger, bolder BOOST. With the help of a talented panel of adjudicators, BOOST will showcase eight artists, present these works over the course of two weekends, and offer a variety of low-cost master classes open to the public. The BOOST dance festival is producing the work of successful veteran artists as well as up-and-coming new choreographers. BOOST is quickly growing into a Seattle dance must-see.
