Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art school is the world's premier alt.drawing movement. Artists draw glamorous underground performers in an atmosphere of boozy conviviality. Found in 2005 in a dive bar in Brooklyn, Dr. Sketchy's has now spread to over 100 cities around the world. Seattle has been a Charter since 2007.
Our model this month is Penelope Rose
Penelope Rose is Seattle's bonny bosomed burlesquer. She brings joy to her favorite flowers with a delicious combination of classic burlesque moves and bawdy humor.
A member of Blonde Ambition Burlesque, she has performed with Morbid Curiositease, Tuesday Tease, the Belltown Burlesque Review, and Siren and the Treasured Chests. Rose also works as a one of the rotating stage managers at Pink Door's weekly show "Burlesque Behind The Pink Door" in Seattle.
