Intro to Medicinal Uses of Essential Oils
Essential oils are a wonderful way to incorporate plant medicines in your everyday life. During the winter months, when fresh medicinal herbs are not available, essential oils offer a way to use the many benefits of the plant medicines. Learn how to harness these benefits of natural plant essences in their most potent and pure form.
Participants will learn:
How essential oils are made Essential oil safety Various application types Medicinal properties of the oils Everyday applications for essential oils Simple recipes that everyone can use
There will be hands-on activities and each person will take home a small essential oil bottle with a custom blend.
Tina Tedesco, a long-time local herbalist, grows her own medicinal herbs and makes variety of herbal products. She is also a certified Reiki Master and incorporates shamanic energy healing into her work. Tedesco has a practice at the Sonoma Holistic Center. Herbal medicine is one of her greatest passions and she is eager to share it with all workshop participants!
