We want to make this party and event open to everyone! We are a nonprofit organization, completely run by volunteers. That being said, our volunteers and members are amazing! We want to celebrate the fact that thousands of kind people donate countless hours, dollars, and special talents to the flourishing of our center and now World Peace Temple. We have a diverse community of meditation practitioners, ranging from experienced to complete beginners. At KMC Maryland we strive to welcome everyone and offer meditations, Buddhist advice, meditation books, and more. Everyone wants to find lasting inner peace and happiness, but few know the real causes and actions to create real authentic peace. Within our community so many people have helped contribute to fulfill KMC Maryland's mission which is to offer classes and meditations that can give people the lasting contentment they seek. Our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Chogden and our Admin Director Kelsang Menla will give a few words about the power and inspiration of our dedicated volunteers and members. We will also have a slide show at the end of the party highlighting moments of the past year!

Families and friends are welcome. No experience is necessary and there is no charge. Please feel welcomed to come celebrate our achievements for peace!

Cost: All donations are greatly appreciated. Donations are tax-deductible as we are a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.

*Note: Please do not bring any dishes with meat or fish. Also no alcohol or other intoxicants on the premise. Thank you!
